Holiday Party

Our holiday party will be during our next regular club meeting on Tuesday, December 9 at 7:00 pm at the regular location, the Polish Home in Syracuse. All club members and their spouses, other family, and friends are invited to attend. Dinner will be catered by the Polish Home, and will be a buffet style Polish dinner. The cost is $10.00 for club members, and $20.00 for non club members. This includes all taxes and tip. The club will pick up a portion of the cost for club members. We are asking that you please bring a dish such as an appetizer or dessert to share.

Meeting Reminder - Gadget Night

Just a reminder that our monthly meeting is this Tuesday, November 11 at 7:00 pm at the regular location, the Polish Home in Syracuse. We will have gadget night in lieu of a regular presentation, and are asking that you bring a homebrewing or other beer related gadget to show to everyone. Our commercial beer sampling style will be winter beers. We are planning on keeping the meeting short because of all of the Beer Week events happening that evening. As always, homebrew and commercial craft beer are always welcome. Hope to see you all there!

Brewfest Volunteers Needed

The organizers of the Syracuse Beer Festival are in need of volunteers, who are at least 21 years old, to pour at the event. The brewfest will be on Friday, November 7 at 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the On Center in Syracuse. Volunteers will need to be there at 4:30 pm to give time to get to your area, and receive brief instructions. All volunteers will receive a free shirt and souvenir glass. Family, and friends are welcome to volunteer too!

Upcoming Meeting Reminder

Just a reminder that our next club meeting will be this Tuesday, October 14 at 7:00 pm at our regular location, The Polish Home in Syracuse. Our commercial beer tasting style will be Octoberfests. We will be having a presentation on Beer Smith, a recipe builder and brewing aide software. Hope to see you all there!

Gordon Biersch Tour and Meeting Tomorrow

Just a reminder our monthly meeting will be at Gordon Biersch in Syracuse tomorrow at 7:00 pm. We just have space for 50 people, and asked if you wanted to attend to contact us through email or Facebook. We believe we have responded to everyone who contacted us to sign up. If you asked to sign up, and did not receive a response, please respond to this email, or comment below if you are reading this on Facebook. We will be meeting by the inside entrance in front of Gordon Biersch. The brewer will be sharing samples of a few selected beers, and will give a brewery tour to our group.

NYS Fair Homebrew Competition Results

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table.
Both score sheets and awards will be available for pick up during and after the ceremony. Awards and score sheets not picked up will be mailed back to participants. Results will be posted to the competition web site after the ceremony concludes.
